A Gift of Gratitude!!

Hello everyone!
I would like to take a little moment of your time, to say a few words!

First of all, I would like to thank you, all of you, that have supported me in these 15 years of art. When I first started putting my art online, I had no great ambitions, other than share the simple drawings I used to make. I can say I evolved, from a personal little blog, then to DeviantART and finally to my own website/store.

And not even in my wildest dreams I would think anyone would ever want to get a drawing from me, even more pay for it! That was absurd! I live in a country that, unfortunatley, art and artists are not valued as they should, and it shows, as I only have a couple of customers from my own country. It took me two years to open a store, and I used to think, “no one will be interested, but here goes nothing!”. But something magical happened to me! Lots of people enjoyed and became customers of my art. Something I used to make as a hobby, turned into my profession. I even started giving classes in my city!

This post, is just to let each one of you know, that I am deeply thankful for everything! For all the fun and laughter I have on my emails while making news friends every week! I love getting emails from you, with tags, with all the amazing things you do with my art, and also those that stop by to tell me their news, to share their lives with me. For all the patience you have when I send a late reply, or to send an art a few days late because of work, or because my internet crashed. For all the trust you put on me, when you commission a fairy that’s just in your imagination, trusting I can make it for you.

I have a dream to have my art known, for my fairies and silly fantasy arts to be known, and thanks to you, my dream is coming true, and even better than I could ever hope for, since it made my life much richier of friends, stories and art, lots and lots of art.

This Free tube is to all of those who stop by: those that come to purchase something, those that come for the free images, those that come to register, and even those who come to visist and meet my art! Thank you, thank you!

I would love to know how you got to see my art for the first time? Where did you first hear of it? How did you find it?

Thanks again, if you read this far!
Many hugs and love from Brazil,
Carolina

  2. I do not remember how many years, but when I bought the first version of Paint Shop Pro in 1990, I registered in tag groups and that’s how I knew your art and those of many other Artists and Designers at ScrapsNcompany.

I wish you (so to us too ;) ) to have many more years of happiness in the creations.

I love your artwork, (fairies are my favorite) and I’m thrilled I found you on DeviantArt 15 years ago! One of my forum boards used your art in a challenge, and I’ve followed you ever since.
I appreciate all you do, and look forward to more in the future!
    Hugs,
